Oldandtired, I am under the impression that the 36 pickup had an early and a late shield. I have shown both. There was an early version 36 (67-16554) and a later 36-37 version (77-16554).

As a side note, Bugs were originally placed on the glass to indicate that the glass was safety glass and not just plain plate glass.

Early(2/13/36) drawings of the banjo wheel show a chrome plated hub. Later drawings show a Benton Gray hub and later a brown hub to match the wood grain dash.

Heard, Here are 3 photos showing the wire routing from the bottom of the steering column to the driver's side head light harness, across the radiator to the passenger side harness.

1935 and 1936 Chassis parts books show (42) 351428-S-7 washers used on both alum. and cast iron heads. Washers may have been eliminated in later years on cast iron heads.

The screws were flat head machine screws. When properly installed with counter sink washers they are flush with the floor.
