Re: 1940 Ford truck Paint type
Single-step acrylic gets my vote hands down. I just don't like base coat clear coat. I've seen too many cars where the clear coat is coming off. "Peeling" off I call it. Besides, why paint it twice?...

35-36 Radio Face plate glass lens
I just ran across a nice curved glass lens for a 1935-1936 Ford radio head in my stash of early Ford goodies. Just the lense, nothing else. I really have no idea of what it is worth, but where 'ya...

Re: 39 Mercury running board Rubbers
There was a guy, Hunley Acuff in Rossville Georgia who vulcanized the correct covers on your boards years ago. I don't know if he is still around or not. Try Googleing him. It's worth a shot.

Re: 36 pickup rear view mirror location

Re: spacer for a 39 flathead fan
While we are on the subject of fans/hubs etc, let me ask a dumb question. Will the standard generator mount fan work on the later crank mount, i.e are the fans interchangeable? I have several fans...
