Phil.............do you have to use a special plug to keep the oil from running out of the dipstick tube since you guys are driving upside down?? :-)

I used Northwest Chrome in New Plymouth, Idaho to replate both my bumpers. They did exactly what they said they would do with no exceptions. I would use them again.

I use a random orbital buffer and Meguiars polishing compounds to remove discolorations and swirls. Very satisfied with results. Clay bar won't work for what you are asking.

I also have the antique plate only on the rear of my OR avatar. Although there are "restrictions", you can run the car for trips to buy maintenance items, warm it up to change the oil, car club...

I only have one old car-the avatar! Roads are mostly bare and dry lately. Snow in the valleys is gone and the elk are starting to move back into the hills but still have 15 ft in the mountains. Good...

On my avatar, although not stock engine, the hose from the water pump connects to the top connection of the heater core. Hope this helps.

My avatar has a '55 Ford rearend out of a OD car-IIRC the gears are 3.22. Sid here on the forum would know all the technicals about the swap since he is the one that did it for me. Good luck!!
