1. the curve outer panel under lid has all 6 bolts broken off in nuts--i may want to re tap them depending on answer in number 2--what is size of screws and threads per...

the drum came off micron by micron with a cant hook [ see pictures -a leverage dev ice for rotating logs] on the lug nuts combined with a 3 prong on the hub ridge -- have not examined drum or shoes...

reply to charlie- yes instead of the drum being equally space 360 degrees, wider space at rear than anterior---yes not a stud fixated puller rather anular groove fixated on hub [not sure proper word]...

thanks to all who replied- am using 3 prong puller with catches which grab onto 90 degree edge in circumferential groove on central hub [not sure of proper name] in any case not on studs

30 roadster---hello--when trying to remove rear drum with puller, the front of drum does not move outward like rear prtion of drum and binds as its being withdrawn---things ive done
1 brake levers...

i ended up cutting it with hacksaw--had to slip blade between door and brace and did not want to go deep into subrail ---when i got very close to...

hello- i have a late trans but is badly rusted--i can get a used early trans, with its shift tower, u joint with its inner and clam shell.

correct me: it looks like i can take all the parts out...

katy thanks: i thought i would an over head make a cross bar and use a 1000 pound winch to raise motor few inches, if this is easiest

hello- my car in primative location--dirt floor shed[ cant roll motor lifft; not much room to roll car back]-- fire wall out is out- need to pull rusted trans for repairs--

i hope to raise motor...

hello question- still trying to remove cowl- attached picture--the bracket at the edge of the cowl at its foot plate on the sub rail [pardon any my naming of parts, they may be wrong] -i've chalked...

see pix 2 and 3 there is severe stick welding damage and a bad patch can't leave it that way must remove cowl and repair cowl

31 roadster---i read all old posts on this and one person said he was able to free up rods by penetrating oil---any ideas on how to get oil into rod channels? i thought about putting in a few drill...
