Wasn't there but there were a number of photos of it in one of Peterson's Complete Ford books. One of the things that got me started on early V8 Fords.

Is that a still good number from Ford /Motorcraft? Was a good number a few years back.
Motorcraft number FL 766? I think worked on the Ford tractors with overhead valves as I recall.

I remember seeing a 1942 maroon Mercury station wagon at the Indy swap meet back in the mid to late 1980's. Wonder if that is the same car. I knew then it was a very rare car.

I have a ECG carb with manual choke, marked 1 1/16 Ford and F. It was either NOS or a Ford reman from when I had my Ford dealership in Iowa. will need rebuilt. It's available if someone needs it.

In the sales brochures Ford calls the 1947 and 1948 3 passenger coupes as a "business coupe". To my knowledge Ford did not refer to the 1946 as a "business coupe.
