I give up! I now believe these two will not mate, the 26 is just made 7/8 '' of an inch higher than the earlier hogshead and I don't see any way to do this that would be doable and end up with a...

26-27 Hogshead question
What was the reason Ford added the 2 top mounting lugs to the top of the 26-27 hogshead? There had to be a reason. Thank you in advance, Jim
