I found a peanut jar full of pop-out parts for $5, NOS powerhouse brushes, Power house brush springs, NOS early bendinx springs for $10, 3 very nice 21" rims for $75 for all. Overall a beautiful day.

I've never used the rubber pads. i just use a good amount of RTV and glue the brackets to the glass. I also use red loctite on all of the hardware.

they have been a crap shoot for us. Sometimes they fit fine and bolt on like they should other times there is an issue where you cannot tighten the U-Joint onto the Main shaft.

Look at what is included in the kits. Some are only the parts that mount to the lid, while other kits are all of the pieces including the mounting hardware.

These are made from the same thickness stainless as the stainless bumpers. This was done to make a nicer part.

1934 v-8 pickup radiator shell

a nice original radiator shell from a Ford V-8 Pickup truck. This has the bits and pieces of stainless that are in great shape. The only issue I see is there is a tear on the top near the radiator...

I've used a large socket and a big "c" clamp. Put the socket on the fan blade end and put the "C" clap over the end of the socket and the threads of the bushing and start turning.

Craig Riker in OH has done a lot of work for us and the quality is top notch. He has been restoring and plating parts for Model A's for over 25 years, so he generally knows his stuff.

What i do is if you tap the glass with a finger nail and you hear a high crisp tinking sound the glass is most likely plate glass. Laminated safety glass has a dull sound to it.
