Re: Toe-in Alignment tool

I bought a stickie tape from Hobby Lobby for $2.39 and a shower curtain from Wallmart for about $10.

This solved a death wobble that I had.

Re: How do you balance your wheels / tires

Like Gpierce I found a company that can do spin balancing and it is now very smooth. All of my stick on weights are on the inside so that they dont show (as much).

I would prefer dynabeads but I...

Re: Voltage regulator

Just so I understand.

Toms regulator replaces the 3rd arm. Do I continue to use his regulator and my nurex cutout at the same time?

Does Toms regulator automatically increase the amps when the...

Re: Timing with 6.0 Head

I had a FSI Zipper and returned it. It was just not a good product with the 6.1 head.

Re: Timing with 6.0 Head

With my 6.0 head I use .020 and W18 plugs. Most of the time the lever is between 3 and 4 oclock when driving. When climbing a hill the engine will tell me how much to back off the timing.

On a...

Re: Funny Generator Incident Yesterday...

I would like to keep it like Henry but I feel it is smarter/safer to run a fuse. I use to use the kind that go on the starter with the glass fuse. I had issues with the fuse holder then switched to...

Re: Need a 31 Roadster windshield.

$90 is way better than $199 at Brattons.

Re: GPI Radiator

OK, now that looks promising. If it works, it will save you $500 over Bergs.

They dont talk about the number of fins per in or cores. Bergs is 13 per inch and 3 cores.

Re: New Snyders head

I bought a 6.0 head from Snyders and the shop told me it was far from straight. The areas where the nuts go had to be ground and the water inlet had to be repaired.

But, 3,000 miles later it...

Need a 31 Roadster windshield.

Who make the best 31 Deluxe Roadster windshields?

Would you go to the typical suppliers or go to a local glass shop?

Re: GPI Radiator

The price is great but it does not look like the original radiator. I agree that aluminum is better than brass for cooling.

I bought a Bergs and would by another one if I had to.

Re: Voltage regulator

I always drive with my lights on, just to be seen. Similar to John I set my 3 rd brush to about 8 amps and when I have my lights on it is at 1 amp.

Re: Temperature Rises after shutdown

I just installed a 180 tstat because my new Bergs Radiator and new engine had a hard time going above 160-165 on a 92 degree day running at 60 mph for a long run.

I now get it up to 180 real...
