I should clarify my post above about the Teflon spring liners. I only use them between the longer leaves, not the short ones - about 5 I think. My avatar has them and it does make a difference for me...

So I purchased the Newport Engineering kit for the pickup and went with the added delay mechanism again to make it easier for my wife to have more of the same feel as her daily. I have nothing else...
