I'm not a 4 banger guy but in my limited experience with them, I agree as I have personally had two of those "Modern" silicone gaskets fail. Best Gasket Graphtite in my opinion is the best out there

I did something similar as Carolina Bob. Bought a 32ft. V-Nose out of Douglas GA. I have had it for three years and have put around 20k miles on it. The tires commonly installed on them are sub par.....
