Look in macs they list those bushings, I think GM is correct I made my shaft also, good luck

I put the brake energizers on years ago, I put about 4,000 miles a year on my 36 and the brakes work very good. You need all the parts in the brake system in good shape, my car will lock the brakes...

G.M. we use the 2x4s made up like an upside down u that goes near the front of the pan the two bys lift the engine and you put the jack in the middle of the u. You can leave the engine jacked up...

It is a seal or oring in the transmission that is brittle or torn once all is hot the seals and orings soften and you do not have and problem this is also called an internal leak Chris

When I did my pumps I made a jig out of 2x4s think of an upside down u. I made it so the short upright 2x4s would sit on the bolt flange of the oil pan. It works great if you need dimensions pm me....
