I do have a special place for the special parts now. I bought a fairly large tool box just for those things. Still...

Looks pretty darn good to me. I used AE back in 1974 and it fairly decent for a daily driver. Used mostly lacquer back then. Last few years used BC/CC. May have to give the AE a try on my next...

Re: Pop-up Adds at Bottom of Screen

Re: Mud & water shield?

Thanks for the links. Drakes is (in the ad) even the right color. I will try to get one or the other. Opps, after reading closer, it is black. Can't see it anyway.

Mud & water shield?

Did the 1946/48 Ford cars have a shield inside the fender that protected the gas filler neck and cap? If I drive in any moisture I have a mess coming out around the filler door. If they did and I...

Re: 1946 Rear Window Install

Van Pelts shows starting at the top, just the opposite of what I would have tried. Figures.. Sure glad I asked first.

Thanks

1946 Rear Window Install

Going to install rear window shortly. I wanted to be sure where to start. I assume with the glass in the rubber seal, the bottom portion is where to begin. Where would be the starting point of the...

Re: 1937 v/8 60 complete engine

That engine was built by my son in law (deceased) when he worked for Adams Custom Engines. They are/were antique restorers in Reno. He died before I received the engine from my daughter, so I only...

Re: 1937 v/8 60 complete engine

Hey, I know that engine. It was in my 3/4 scale roadster. Good engine, no leaks. Low miles. I replaced it with a Chev 4 cylinder with powerglide, so my wife could drive it. Guessing it has 200...

Re: 60 hp AV8 performance ?

I ran one in my 3/4 scale 32 roadster. It was fine with 4/11 gears. They have no torque to speak of. It would run 65 mph. It had mild cam with 2 81 carbs. Total weight of roadster was about 1600...

Re: computer problems

I had Win7, went to Win10, and back to Win7. Win10 wouldn't let me do a lot of things. I never allow any updates. It works, so why fix it? My main computer still has XP, so what if it is not...

Re: Intake & Distributor ID

Thanks for the ID's. It will be several months before the move. I have no need for them, as I sold my 60hp to a fellow for a display. I will post them on the for sale page when I receive them.
