Re: Painted silos
We have a huge silo in Fort Dodge, Iowa. It was painted a couple years ago by an Australian artist named Guido van Helten. I wonder if he is the artist who painted the silos Lawrie photographed.

Re: Westach 6 volt tachometer
I have always wondered if the installation of a tachometer into the ignition has any effect on the ignition system. What say ye "electrical geeks?"

Re: Replacement Door Key w/o key
I believe 32phil likes to have the cylinder as sometimes the pins have enough wear that it can take a bit of finessing to get a good fit. The key may need to be cut a few thousands shallow sometimes.

Unusual Stromberg 48
I saw a 48 carburetor today that appeared to have extra hardware on the main jets that would make them adjustable. ??? It came out of a garage where a stock car driver of the 1940's to 1970's lived....

Re: Helmet distributor an a 4 cylinder

Re: Helmet distributor an a 4 cylinder
I have not learned how to do that Hoop.
The thread was on "Vintage shots from days gone by" page 24. It was posted by LowKat Jan 9, 2010.
Maybe another member with "skills" can do it.
