Sorry, there are Lincoln part numbers for the years 36, 37-39, 40 and 41-48. Not usable in Ford cars.

Rick, if your 1946's engine is before #143927 the wheels have the same color as the body. After that number is wheel color is black.

Just a rich red enamel...not a gaudy brassy red. Same red as in the other red painted trim pieces on your car. Is you car a LC or LZ model?

1940 Lincoln hubcaps says "Lincoln Zephyr, 1941 Lincoln hubcaps say "Lincoln V 12. Both types have only red enamel paint in the lettering.

Bruce, check with Merv Atkins in California about a revulcanized fromt motor mount. He may be able to have yours done. Maybe Dennis Carpenter might help. Merv's phone is 909 980 1332. Good luck.

96H 17508 is the correct part number for the 39 LZ windshield wiper motor. Illustrated on page 282 of the master parts catalog. Merv Atkins probably has one.

The system is available now. Check out www.henmach.com (http://www.henmach.com). Really works. Uses 2 6 volt Optima batteries in an available case. Batteries wired in parallel. Fits the Ford battery...

Bruce, they are called "frame insulators." Lincoln part number 96H 5044. There are 4 on you car.

Bruce. you may find the needed key information by calling the Benson Ford Research Center in Dearborn, Michigan at 313-976-6070. They have many prewar Lincoln production record cards and might still...

Kubrick...Big lock is a 1941 Lincoln ignition pull-push switch and the small lock is for the door.

The one I just took apart has the Optima battery sitting in a solid mass of poured plastic...from a well known supplier of these "logoed" batteries. Wasted over $300+. How can you return the battery...

Jake Fleming in Dallas, Texas works on our 36 to 48 Lincoln radios. Give him a call. Lincoln radios are Philco and Zenith manufactured same as Ford. Call him at 214 333 3197.
