Corrosion on starter switch

The copper terminal on the starter switch is corroded. I cleaned the the surface and it is bright now. But how do I protect the copper from corrosion? In an article they recommended dielectric...

I'm looking for the best way to smoothen the pitted seat (machined into the casting) of the gas adjusting needle in my Zenith 2 carburetor. Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately the brass hex of the GAV housing is completely damaged. So I have to use the propane torch.

I have to remove the frozen GAV assembly on my Zenith carburetor. So I take a welding torch and apply heat to it. Then I have to dunk the carburetor into a pot of cold water. But isn't that dangerous...

When there is no clamp for the distributor pop out cable on #8 head bolt, I have to add a spacer of the same thickness. That's what Tom Endy describes in his fantastic article "Henry's Way". My car...

Thank you all for your help. A few minutes ago Renner's Corner answered my e-mail. I will buy the flowed jets plus a Vition tipped float valve. Here in Germany it's nearly impossible to get spare...

Maybe it would help to add some smokefree two stroke engine oil to the gas. It is very anticorrosive. Furthermore I ask myself if it could be a lubricant for the throttle shaft.
