Re: Door Stops

OK, I got the old ones out. I need help determining what are the new ones? I see nothing similar on the vendor's websites.

Anyone know the correct vendor and part number?

Thanks

Door Stops

It seems to me that these door stops are a bit ratty.

Re: Why do you like your car.

I like my car because it gives me something to do on my retirements days.
So far, I have been working on it for 3 years so far and I have probably 3 more years until it is safe for the roads.

31 Top Installation

Four gentlemen from the local Modal A Restorer Club came by yesterday to help me install to top on my 31 SW Model A. It was a herculean task.
One step closer! YEA!

Re: 31 SW vacuun line installation

Thank you Art.
I do not understand where the vacuum line turns back in through the firewall. Mine does not have this opening. How do I make this turn?

Thanks,
John

Re: Fuse block ideas

I found this fuse block on google. I also found the power distribution post.
I mounted both using Velcro tape.

I know this is overkill, but it works for me.

Re: 31 Model A Vacuum Line

I am away visiting my son, daughter-in-law, and new grandson.
Before I left, I was able to insert lockwire into both ends up to the 90 degree bend. I was able to squirt brake cleaner into the open...

Re: 31 Model A Vacuum Line

I was successful in inserting a wire in both ends. It seems that the wires made it to the 90 degree bend. I then squeezed in BD Blaster thru the plastic straw. I had flow of the fluid, dripping out...

Re: 1931 S/W Fordor Sedan Dome Light Wire Guard

I am totally unaware of a Dome light Wire Guard. I do not have such an item on my 31 SW. The wires are hidden behind the wood were necessary.

Thanks,
