Hi Dale, 3.268 bore x 4.25 stroke, Ross pistons, Schneider .425 lift cam, Offy heads, Kong intake with two Holley 4412's mounted sideways. T5 transmission with .79 5th gear and 4.88 gear.

oil galley plug has small hole

I am in the process of assembling a 8BA engine and when I tried to removed the front oil galley plug I couldn't get it out. No big deal, I'll get it out later. So I start to pressure wash the block...

we used pieces of the Speedway kit to mount a C4 automatic to a flathead to adapt a Lakewood blow proof to our engine. The bellhousig mounted straight to the adapter and I used the center section...

Didn't think of water, doesn't have the normal pitting.The block has other issues like multiple heli-coiled head bolts holes.

went check out a couple of engine blocks a high school buddy acquire for a project and was wondering what may have caused this damage to the valve seats. Looks about .050 to .060 deep and affected...
