Starter Switch troubles

The starter switch on my 1931 Tudor needs to be overhauled or replaced (intermittent - difficult to activate). I'd like to purchase a good used original.

where do you see the leak occurring? hard to believe gas would wick between the two castings through the gasket. The assembly bolt must not be tight, or, the mating surfaces of the two castings...

Zenith Throttle Plate with circle Z = (Z)

Looking for a throttle plate with circle Z stamped into it. This is for the early Zenith carburetors with double venturi.

Yep, Tom has a double venturi with a throttle plate marked with a "(W)", that is a W inside a circle, as close as I could get.
My thinking now is that before the issue of the venturi arose, Ford...

Great suggestion, Renner's. Called and talked with David (?) at Renner's, who took time to ask and look around. Nothing!

I've been driving over 40K flawless miles with the NuRex upper plate (modern points and condenser). Setting the point gap is a bit of a hassle. I really like the original Ford points with the screw...

The final missing piece is the throttle plate #20. The resto must be accurate....

Boy I sure do like the original A points, sooo easy to gap check/set!! Still, I also greatly appreciate having the condenser on the upper plate. Why not marry the two???

My search goes on looking to restore my early Z double venturi carb. My last missing part is the throttle plate marked "20". I've enough # 18 & 1/2 and they will fit but not original for this carb....
