No, the housing has to be removed and set into a lathe...then the worn hub is cut down to fit the new race.....the axle housing needs to be about 1-1/2 thousands larger than the ID of this sleeve...

I'm rebuilding the front end of my '29 2 door sedan. I ordered the parts 3 weeks ago and started on it yesterday and had a few things like the steering arms rebuilt (Single & double) front spindle...

It's a nice looker. I would take a look at the gas gauge to see if it's leaking. It's a cheap rebuild to do and gives you peace of mind.
