The lash is good. Everything about the rear end seems great... except the axles seem to be sticking out to far.

Also I don’t think it was a hot rod. The parts still in tacked had not been modified. all of the hardware holding the rear end in had been there for a while. It took some WD40 and a little heat to...

Well I don’t know much history about it. This is under a 2dr sedan project I bought a few years ago. It had mechanical backing plates but no drums, just hubs. I did remove the axle tubes to replace...

I am working on a 1934 rear end and the axle shaft sticks out 5” from the end of the housing. The rear hub won’t go on deep enough for the bearing to sit on the housing.

Am I overlooking...
