The Pinto conversion was popular years ago. I believe there are many still running around in California and Texas. FWIW


Put a 4 cyl Pontiac Tempest w/4 bbl, taxi clutch in my 32 back in 63....

I may be wrong BUT isn't there someone who adverizes in the the Restorer who makes a "slip on" piece to the mainshaft to fit the pilot bearing and give the correct length??

BEFORE final painting ck with your DMV as some states want to physically see the plates in question (ALSO ck with DMV to make sure the plates aren't already in use). Some even won't accept restored...
