I am not sure my 33 model b has those splash aprons. I will check. Never knew they should be there? The Things ya Gotta Know!

Maybe Mike Driskel has better seals.
Shouldn't one be a felt seal? or am I thinking of something else?

when a torque tube is attached to the transmission end and the differential end, what gaskets are used? Is there a line drawing of the setup.
Does the torque tube fill with transmission oil or oil...

Another reason I decided to purchase the proper tool was that the awkwardness of working with a kludge tool on a frozen bolt! You may want to clean up that socket with a dremel tool to gain a better...

One of my original steady rod bolts came out and I had to rework it.
I used the smallest dremel grinding tip and reformed the square socket. Then is used the driskel tool to tighten the bolt in.

Probably the best idea. I guess these metal parts rust out. Mine is sound but one corner gone, I can weld a new piece on. Are these 18 gauge steel.
