you can obtain a circuit breaker that pushes in to same gap as a fuse , some are self resetting when they cool off and others are Manuel reset.

I have exact same set up , I put a push button starter switch on floor where original one was. End of starter staying engaged and busting up bendix and amature bending.

I had several condensers fail because of over voltage from Alternator. during the time of diagnosing cause I mounted a condenser from a 1969 ford with wire attached on firewall. its been a long time...

Here in Newfoundland Canada you have to have signal lights for Motor Vehicle Inspection purposes. Also it would be suicide to drive without them.

I had the same problem , and discovered the brass bushing on top of light rod was deteriorated , its annoying but simple to repair. do some research on light rod removal.

I done this in a 29 this past winter , that's not in a blind hole so I just cut head off . drove pin in and retrieved it with magnet through ball socket attachment in bell housing. I had clutch...

As Pete said , if its a Vintique starter switch take it off , mine from Vintique lasted a few weeks , put back on 90 year old original and never had a issue after.

exactly what CCPU Said, do a systematic approach. seems like its always the simplest of things. I would not use a paper element filter which can collect raw fuel or even vapour that is only inches...

I just had to sort out this issue. johnbuckley is correct ,but Dodge is more probably ..most guys when switching to 12V just mount a coil upside down and it overheats from oil not covering wiring...

I had to name my 29 CCP to Vinney, after all the Vintique reproduced crap. I am sure it its just as easy to manufacture something that fits , works, as required .

if you are using the small alternator pulley, the BX4O is perfect , any other BX numbers will be to long and won't be able to be adjusted.

I agree on those between the bumper lights , had them on for a hour or so , I have 12v so I converted cowls to amber bulbs , park lights and signal , highly effective and cheap.
