if the filters are sealed and have been stored correctly there should be no problems but if in dout throw them out engines cost a lot more than a filter

yeh now the drama trouble is a fan is to far from radiator to work at idle and about 1/3 of the fan sweep is actually below the core on a 39

check the bolts against each other tail to shoulder if there are any that have stretched they wont be a snug fit [old school cummins mechs will know what i mean they supplied a gauge in the gasket...

they will but it takes time nature has a way of healing its own we just have to learn how and where she needs a hand maybe now the relevant authorities will carry out hazard reductions instead...

we've got to remember that oil filters were actualy accesories not standard if you do the sums all the oil will go thru the bypass stlye filter Me i glued a big magnet into the sump plug and left...

i had no end of trouble trying to find someone that could balance wide 5s Ended up using 2mm beads was skeptical to start with but they work and i can rotate tyres with no need to re balance.

thanks for the feedback looks like its an 18 tooth gear generally i pump in grease until i get a small amount of grease purging pass the bell seal clean the bell down and repeat at approx every 6...
