The end of the latch is shaped square. The hole it sits in is also square. On mine, even though it was rotated (clocked to come out). It wouldn't.
I had to tap, press it out a little then it came...

Probably a hundred or less. But they were fun Country miles. You can cover a lot of roads without racking up many actual miles.

I installed what looks like the exact mirror you have. Drivers side. I was able to remove the pin after some oil soak/tapping pin from bottom. So, pick the oil of choice & let it sit for awhile & see...

Yep, my '30 Sedan has that cotter key there too. That's where it leaks a little oil on my garage floor.
But hey, at least you have interior panels, I don't!

Well Bill, mine rattles too. And before reading this, it was on my list of things to do...tighten it up.
So is there anything that can be wrapped around the pipe inside clamp to quiet it down?...

On my '30 Tudor, they only seem to groan when I brake on a slope in reverse. Like backing out of the garage which has a downhill slope.
Luckily I have no strange sound while braking going forward.

Very well done! That's exactly what I plan for the interior panels. For the floor, I bought the OEM style heavy floor mats, & will add the heat deflect wrap over the Noico on the bottom side of the...

Thanks Steve, mine is a Tudor. The product I've ordered is Noico 80 mil in black.
I'm planning to cover the bottom of the floorboards & then proceed to the interior panels if I like the way works....

I got it from the vendor that people here don't seem to like much, lol.
It's probably the exact one that all common Model A vendors sell if I had to guess.

I purchased one like this in post #1 for my '30 Sedan. It does not have vibration.
The bolt/nut replaces the hinge pin and secures tightly.

Thanks for that info. My lights indeed dim as I'm stopping the car to open the garage doors, also noticed it while pulling in the garage in the dark.
