Re: Seeking Model T Engine/Trans builder

Joe Bell is in Tiffon (sp?) Ohio. He rebuilt the engine in my 1927 Model T several years ago and is a fabulous Model T rebuilder.

Re: Model T as a daily driver

I have a 1909 and a 1927 Model T and tour with them all the time. We average over 100 miles a day. As long as you maintain them, tighten the lug nuts, make sure you have enough oil and coolant, they...

Re: Make a model T a little more safe

My Model Ts are all open cars. If you are in an accident while traveling at any speed over 30 MPH, you can kiss your ass good bye, whether it's an open car or a closed car and whether or not you are...

Re: Model T as a daily driver

Re: Model T as a daily driver

I tour with my 1909 and 1927 Model T's. On average we cover over 100 miles in a day. If you keep checking the oil, coolant, tire pressure and gas supply they are as reliable as a Model A, just not as...

Re: Make a model T a little more safe

I was in an accident with my 1927 Touring. Guy cut right in front of me, while I was coming to a stop at a light. The instant I saw him, I hit him. I was only going about 8 MPH when I hit him, but I...

Model A Transmission

I have a perfectly good transmission out of my 1931 Model A Deluxe Phaeton, for sale. It was removed and replaced with a Mitchel Syncromesh unit, as I have done with other Model A's I have owned. All...

I have seat belts in all my antique cars, including my 1909 Model T. Recently was in an accident with my '27 T, coming to a stop when this jerk cut right in front of me. I hit him as I hit the brakes...

Re: Convert 1912 gas light to 12volt electric

Leave the burners in the lamps and simply wire your sockets around the burners and twist the wire tight enough to hold the sockets and bulbs in place.

Re: Model T as a daily driver

I have both a 1909 and a 1927 Model T. They both are touring cars, so cold weather bothers me. I tour extensively with both cars and some days the tours are over 100 miles. Just keep checking the...

Re: Grandpa's 1924 Model T Touring

Looks like a nice Model T. I would keep it, for sure. As somebody said, join a local Model T chapter in your area. I live in Michigan also and am a member of the Casual T's. Model T people are always...

Re: Ease of entry

Roadsters are difficult to get in and out of, when the top is raised. I just bought a 31

Re: My Bad

Re: Putting Model A on battery tender

John, there is not power to the horn or lights when the motor is not running. They must have wired it differently than my previous A's.
