Re: Oil pump aerating oil

Exactly, so where is it getting aeriated? His pump is well submerged in oil, 10W30, room temp. If there were a restriction somewhere, making a venturi effect, could that do it?

Thanks again.

That's brilliant Ken! Nice work!!

What injectors are you planning to use and what fuel pressure? Is it MegaSquirt control?

Looking forward to seeing the next phase.

Re: Let's start a junkyard fuel injection discussion

Just re-read the thread and missed this, great idea, I was going to build a hot wire setup but I have a number of Weller guns here and will try those first, maybe mod one to use hot nichrome wire.

Re: Let's start a junkyard fuel injection discussion

Thanks Ken,

Yes, classic braid...$240, but there's enough to do several vehicles, maybe more. It's best cut with a hot wire as scissors just mangle the ends.

Re: Junkyard electric fan recommendations '49 F-47

Hi Al,

Does this look like your fan? There are about 4 or 5 listed for the Liberty, I'm not sure if this is a push or pull fan, I continue checking. It's 2 speed which is great.

cheers

Re: Junkyard electric fan recommendations '49 F-47

Thanks Gene,

I too saw that Volvo controller in my search. I have a 10SI alternator, I think 63 A, planning on putting in a 78A, should be enough. I was planning on putting the temp sensors in the...

Re: Temp sensor port thread chaser

So would either of these ports be in the direct path of water returning from the rad, and make a good place for an electric fan temp sensor?
