Re: Flathead V8 swap? Decisions, decisions

Also,...

Re: Flathead V8 swap? Decisions, decisions

WOW

What a coincidence

This is great information thank you.

Are you doing a write up?

The running body has everything complete except the battery box that I can pull out of the body that...

Re: Flathead V8 swap? Decisions, decisions

Re: Flathead V8 swap? Decisions, decisions

Absolutely

I will rebuild it while the running gear...

Re: Flathead V8 swap? Decisions, decisions

I hear ya there. In Arizona it’s simple to get a title. I have mine for the running truck I have now from the glovebox and firewall matching numbers. I’m sure he would keep the title on the other...

Re: Flathead V8 swap? Decisions, decisions

YES

I have researched that there are some changes to be made that are minor but several in number

I’m a purist at heart, so it’s hard to even imagine a V8 and not a 6!

Flathead V8 swap? Decisions, decisions

This has been asked before, but not in this way, I don’t believe.

Someone I know is selling a...

Re: 51 F2 Engine Options

Thanks for the hope. Maybe I will get a tach to try what helped you out with the downshift. To do that I will have to get the gas pedal to work smoothly because currently it is pretty sticky and...

Re: 51 F2 Engine Options

Could be. I do think I remember direct bolt in

I would love to keep it original but also like the idea of being able to downshift to 2 without coming to a slow roll. This will be especially...
