you have to be careful with 70s distributors, some have vacuum retard.
some Subaru ones also could be used, all will require modifications to the advance curve

make them , either cored bushing bronze rod and make on lathe for thick bushings or forming flat stock into a bushing and pressing it in then machining to fit.

If the balls are not new and round the adjustments should be made turned to lock then adjusted to coil bind of the springs then backed off to cotter hole.

still enough attendance that the aisles were full of people making it hard to move, yes not as many vendors but I think saturdays rain made people think it would be a muddy mess

Also if the edges of the butterfly valve are worn near the throttle shaft it will cause the butterfly angle at the idle fuel ports to be wrong, the idle port get covered more changing the mixture...

how much wiggle in the throttle shaft, if worn the the throttle may not close at the same position every time
