The base of what we refer to as 94s has AA1 cast in. I believe that was Holleys model#. The 92s have AA 7/8 cast in.

Oxalic acid (found in wood bleach, such as Cabots, available in hardware stores) was the ingredient in GMs radiator flush 12-16 ounces with water. Followed of course by a baking soda flush.

The earlier transfer cases were whole different animals. Not to mention the early M-Hs were not true full time 4wd. Some cases had a spring loaded compensating clutch for turning corners. ...

Does your transfer case click when turning a corner? If so it has the compensating clutch. That would allow some difference in tire size. Not ideal by any means.

That kit looks just like what has been described above. If you have an 8-32 tap and handle, a $1.50 for a screw, my, and washers would be cheaper. I've used the tap/machine screw method before...

I have no experience with it myself. I know they used it at work for heavy equipment, including leveling a floor under the drag transmission on one of the draglines.

Check with chuck mantiglia of chucks trucks. He has restored Dearborn winning bonus built pickups. You would be getting accurate information from him.
