Does anyone know of a reputable machine shop around middle TN that can rebuild a Model A engine? Can travel further if needed.

Ok took some more pictures and measurements. A 1/2 bolt will go through every hole except where outer bumper bolts go. Thats true for both front and rear brackets. Front outer brackets are 24 inches...

Nice catch Sal, missed the mixture screws. run them all the way in and back out 1/2-3/4 turn good starting point.

Floats too high, bad needle seats, manual or electric pump? You can pull tops off and watch them.

Flathead Misc. Ignition parts

Cleaning out garage, dont know if anyone can use this stuff but I don't need it. Looks like a coil and misc distributor parts, also plug wire tubes that have been worked on. $25.00 plus shipping.

36 Car Bumper Brackets

Complete set of car brackets. Cleaning out garage. $125.00 OBO Plus shipping. These brackets were marked 33-34 but after careful measurement and inquires they are deemed to be 36 car brackets....

A barner passed this week

Mr. Sanborn (Bo) passed earlier this week for those that may have known him but have not heard of his passing. I know his brother Tommy both avid car guys. He is on members list just as Sanborn.

Thanks Bruce, I am testing now without air cleaners. I do have the OTB Gear 4150's on there and expensive little dudes. The filter itself is 4x2.5 and the element doesn't seem to be restrictive but...

Thanks Terry, I am thinking someone must be really applying some torque to squash those puppies. I understand the ports being above the plates when closed and you can see that. Once the idle is set...

Glenn, I know what you mean. The Holley fuel pump I'm using has a range 1.5-4 psi and you would think you could achieve that number 1.5-2 psi with that regulator. I honestly think it will be fine as...

Bored & Stroked, The Stromberg manual says 15/32-17/32 on fuel level. I split the difference at 16/32 or 1/2". Even some of the diagrams show 15/32-1/2". I put some .043's in last night and will run...

On the top idle port in the base where should the throttle plates be in relation to the port at idle, above, below, even? Thanks Gary
