My '32 steering box has sat neglected (no lube) for long time.
Filled with heavy lube oil and it leaks badly out of bottom. Haven't messed with car for years.
Is there a 'seal' of some sort at...

My use of an A pan with B rods, is that you WILL have to dimple A pan for clearance...even with use of modern nuts.

In your experience, is there any downside to using, say, 6 to 8 flange bolts ?
And, I know the type aftermarket bolts you use. What torque (ft lbs) do you use with those bolts ??

And there's more to it. Cars need more percentage to the front (we're talking hydraulics here), because more % is needed to front due to more work being done there.
