Re: What does "All STeel" mean?

I agree with Mike. All steel means that no parts have been replaced with fiberglass

Re: Removing windshield question

If you're wanting to take just the windshield frame off, it should slide out of the tubular hinge without having to remove the upper part of the hinge. That's the way mine came off anyway. Mine is a...

Re: Take a gander at this.

Take a close look at Woofa's picture. It actually has 2 plugs per cylinder. One mag replaced original distributor and the 2nd mag is driven by the crank on what was the front (now back) of the...

Re: Remove pin from Clutch and brake Pedal Shaft

It's definitely a tapered pin. I did mine yesterday. I knocked the pin out from inside, and the shaft came out fairly well. I bought the kit from Bert's. It included bushings for the pedals as...

Re: Shippiing a Model A

What would I do? I'd make a vacation out of it. Drive to where the car is and take a look. If you decide to buy it, rent a trailer and bring her home.

Re: Upholstry Stapler

I recently took the interior out of my 29 Tudor as part of a total restoration. All of the panels seemed to have been attached with very small nails. I'm a long way from replacing it, but I'm...

Thanks, I started sanding the body on mine and a light gray color is becoming visible . Not sure if it's the original color or primer.

Re: Keeping Tailgaters Off Your Back

SimplyCosmic: Is that car color Bonnie Gray? I'm restoring a '29 Tudor and haven't decided on the color yet. That looks really nice.

Re: About Door Locks

Re: About Door Locks

Has anyone modified the passenger door to be able to lock it from the inside? It looks like it would be easy to do, given the parts.

Brake drum color

Were all brake drums painted black originally? I just bought a set of unpainted cast iron drums from Mike's and they sure do look good 'silver'. Thanks in advance for any opinions.

Re: Top kit advice

I got the top material from Bert's a couple of weeks ago, it had no wrinkles. I gave it a "test" run over the bows with no chicken wire. I'll wait until warm weather before installing it, it's now...
