Re: The Highwaymen Movie

Great movie! Just something I noticed was that most of the cars used were deluxe models. I know it’s probably nit-picky, but I would think there were probably more standard cars around than deluxe in...

Re: 1936 Ford Hood Ornament Fitment

I believe the ornament that came in a box of parts with my car was also a Vintique brand and I had the same issues Gary describes.

Re: Rear mounts

Trying to eliminate some vibration from the car. Seems like some of the vibration is coming from the trans area and the rubber on stock rear mount is split and falling apart. I just thought if was...

Re: Rear mounts

I’d like to do the 37-40 mount upgrade. Could it be done by supporting the transmission with a jack while removing the original 36 mounts and replace with the 37-40 style crossmemver and mount? I...

Re: Intake Manifold differences

Re: Intake Manifold differences

Thanks, I just meant could 36 have come with either a cast iron or aluminum intake manifold. Or did 36 only come from the factory with an aluminum manifold?

Does this apply to 1936 as well? My car currently has a cast iron manifold.

Ha! You would be correct.. My past small block Chevy way of thinking is apparent with that statement.

Re: Head Gasket repair 1936 21 stud

Re: Head Gasket repair 1936 21 stud

Been a while since updating.. @Tiinker, the cloth and oil worked perfectly for cleaning up the rust spots in the cylinders. I did the coat hanger trick to get the casting sand from the rear of he...
