The average cost to rebuild a customers fuel pump is $120 plus shipping. Half the pumps
I get are from china ,currently sold by everyone. These pumps have press in valves ,

I do not rebuild...

For what ever it's worth I make my design diaphragms in house as well as gaskets etc.
No kits but I can rebuild and test your pump. Corn gas ...no sweat.

Syncro hubs are the same but there two different ring (part with the fork groove)
widths....gotta be real careful. When you get VanPelts book it's all spelled out.

Thanks Terry......it probably is the remains of a PV or the check valve between the bowl and acc pump bore 'peeking' thru. At any rate this is a VERY fragile area of a Stromberg
and is not a drill...

either my '32 or '41 p'up sit for 3 or 4 days I have to 'crank' a few times before the
mech pump does it's...

This issue is usually a loose throttle shaft. The loose shaft some how upsets
the vacuum and some fuel is siphoned out of the bowl up into the nozzle bars and
deposits itself...

For what it is worth I'm able to convert many after market Chevy distributors to 8BA.
All distributors from my shop have a full size clamping pad, same as the Load a Matic.
All machine & setup...
