I've got a set of pistons 0.083" over stock 3 3/16". Were these made for use after removal of stock sleeves? Any ideas where I can track down a set of rings? Tried hastings and no such luck...

Here's the dimensions of the gasket to help make one, from a fram gasket kit I've got on the shelf...

7 7/8" long (×) 7/16" wide (×) 1/4" thick

Here's a pic of the gasket I believe your after. An old one installed on the main cap... you can see the groove where the pan pushes into it.

Once all cleaned out with a cleaner of choice, there's a product called "Nilodor" that will get rid of the smell. Comes in a little bottle of concentrate, use a few drops in a spray bottle of water...

If it was me, I'd just find or buy a piece of flat stock. Drill a hole, bend to shape or vise versa and your good to go. Either that or get one with the insulation and remove the insulation.
