I have tried the Chevy site's and have not received any useful reply. I am wondering if a VR like Tom makes will work and adjust the output of the generator as conditions require. Jack

Tom W. may have the answer to this one as it is not Model A. My son has a 37 chevy truck that has the resistor on the light switch to allow the generator to produce more voltage when the headlights...

I believe that the "turret top" on the Chevrolet was in 1935. This was all steel. Ford was not first in many things such as hydraulic brakes, But their first radios of the 50's seemed to be better...

It looks to have 30-31 wire wheels, gas tank in the cowl, and Pierce Arrow headlights.. Airflow inspired and the louver machine (noted above) that it fell into.

I have the mid 30 type that seems to be bent into shape. How on earth do you get it apart, there is no boss with a pin just a bent arm as far as I can tell. Jack

I don't understand why we (are government) doesn't do something about it. My suggestion would be to take about 100 of the large military and civilian aircraft that are retired and sit on the desert...

It's OK to check the timing but don't change anything until you know for sure that it is a problem. changing things in a hunt for a problem can introduce another problem making diagnosis much more...
