Dumb question to some maybe? But do these Chevy conversion dizzys work on 6volt pos ground too? And roughly how much are they? And do I need to find a core? Fighting with stock 8ba condenser dieing....

Condenser?
In the last 30 days I've had 2 Napa Echlin's FA66 go bad. Made in Mexico not Japanese junk or is it?
Some time ago someone here I believe? Suggested to use a Echlin Framall IH200 condenser? Heavier...

Years ago my dizzy went copout.. So I sent it off to Bubba for a rebuild. He found the wire inside the dizzy was grounding out..not the case this time since I saw a spark in the points when I cranked...

Cas3 before I ran the Emery cloth through points I changed out the coil with a coil that I had on the Shelf with no effect. I also changed out the condenser with one that I had on the Shelf too

I'm really baffled. I'm still having a hard time figuring out how to test the coil, points and the condenser with a voltmeter? Took the distributor cap off and ran Emery cloth through the points....

Gets smaller and smaller every year. Still fun but not like it used to be when all the 40's parked around the city square. I did pick up some Merc parts at the swap meet today though

I just removed mine to add dual mechanical gauges under the dash. Sad to remove that moon eyes gauge. Nice to see the temp under the hood

The correct dim's are----
