Thatís engine rpms using a new set of Napa Cs47 contacts thatís pretty typical for these contacts .

I have a running engine stand snd if I ever get caught up I plan on using a scope with some...

Actually thatís engine rpm not distributor rpm , also note the degrees of advance is 22 degrees , perfect distributor .

Seen 3rd generation had spun one up and i thought, i wonder how good this one is .......

The distributor (helmet) spun up to almost 8,000 rpm before tester shows any spark scatter !!!!!!!!:eek::)...

.6 with 6 volt = 10 amps
.6 with 12 = 20 amps


pertronix module goes into current limiting at aprox 8-8.5 amps cant run with .6 either way ......
,6 requires a special module .......

I cant do it but i can help ... Get friendly with the auto zone guy or rock auto is you are a computer guy. Buy a complete distributor from a 1962 Ford Falcon ( this gives you correct rotation and...

Come on guys lets stayt away from "snake oil " theres no way that a plug change will do anything UNLESS your old plugs were dirty or the wrong plug for the application. I remember when i was a fleet...

I agree with Mike , dont run petronix on the helmets or six volt or positive ground . This isnt your fix ......

Well at the very least i am in the shop working on stuff somewhat . I am doing ok on Dialysis three days a week (had over 200 treatments ) i treat it as a part time job i guess !!
