oil sender leak
Hi
I have a leak at the oil sender. I remover it today and put pike dope (teflon) on it and tightened it up. Still leaks? I have a 42 with stock engine.

Some of the vendor catalogs have a good diagram, as well as the club 41 - 48 book page 4-13. If you own and work on these cars, you really need the book. It cost about $35 -40

Ford drums have two non interchangable styles. On had a 31"4 hole and one had a 4" hole. One fit over the hub and one fit under it. Check with a vendor to see whice you have . C & G , or...

I thought we were talking about 24 stud blocks? The raised intake surface was used on 81A blocks in 41 and 42 Ford Cars as per the club book chapter 5 page 2.

These bolts go into cage nuts , if you cut or punch them out, just how do you recomend holding the new bolts on. Have you ever seen a rocker box?

You can use a hole saw to cut a hole in the top side of the rocker box to try to get to the cage nuts. If you do that you can then patch the holes you cut which will be covered by the floor mat....
