I've got a '53 Customline with the OHV 6 215ci motor running a stock Holley 1904 carb. I've had flooding issues with this carb continuously for a while. Looking to change it out for something else. ...

No special tools, it was actually easier than I had read. Just jacked it up removed the bolts, pop the old springs out, put new springs in and bolt it back up. And if you don't like the drop height...

I have a 53 Customline. I went the 1990 Aerostar coil route and it gave me about 2 to 2 1/2 inches of drop. Very easy to install and very inexpensive, $60 or so from www.rockauto.com

Thanks guys! I already made the three connections from the generator to the regulator, it was just those two wires I wasn't 100% sure about. I appreciate your replies! This helped me out!
