Re: Don Everly Passed Away Yesterday

My late Uncle was a very talented singer and bass player in a C&W band. He is also responsible for acquiring the '32's in our family. A tough man with a soft voice and a Korean war vet. I fondly...

Re: One that came home today :)

Thanks Kube. Stunning! I could easily take a nap on that inviting sofa of a rear seat. It exudes comfort and luxury. They sure don't make'em like that anymore.

Re: One that came home today :)

Beautiful car! I agree that early 30's styling among the car companies of that era remains to this day unmatched. It's amazing these were created during the Great Depression. How about some more pics...

Re: I made a clock from the clutch out of my 50 Merc

Love it! A great way use parts and pieces and make art. Much better than scrapping and destroying a piece of history.

Re: Lincoln Bumper

Most likely aftermarket. After searching this subject I couldn't find reputable sites on bumper evolution. They all give a perfunctory "history" lesson then at no surprise to me it ends up being an...

Lincoln Bumper

Reagrding the photos posted in "Lincoln" thread started by Highbeam. Notice the bumper on this car. I have a similar one in restorable condition. Several years ago with the help of a fellow Barner no...

Re: Should I?

Free?!! I would speed over and get it. Even if it's hacked up it could be brought back to some form of life. Better to save it while it's available.

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

I believe the previous owner(s) did the right thing in preserving a bit of history by putting this truck in your hands. If I weren't some 3000 miles away I'd like to shake their hands and pet that...

Re: What was it in its previous life?

I'm no expert but in my opinion it appears someone had it set up as a "Gasser". Given the extensive fire wall and floor pan surgeries, the straight tube front axle and rear end modifications it...

Re: Massachusetts YOM plates?

Keep your eye on Ebay. Just looked and got up to page 8. Found 49 and 51 plates but no 50. I also have some old plates buried in the garage but not likely any Ma. I'll check into it though. You can...

Re: 1932 Ford Alternator options

FWIW. Saw this guy on Jay Leno's garage. He puts an alternator inside your stock generator housing. Doesn't cost anything to inquire. He advertises monthly in Hemmings.
Gener-nator...

Re: Up to Date Info on a 6 Volt Fuel Pump?

Poking around on Summit Racing site I found some info. I'll have to look again. My eyes are drooping as it's late.

Re: Up to Date Info on a 6 Volt Fuel Pump?

Is that a fuel pressure regulator attached? If so what is the PSI and does it come with the pump.
Thanks, Tom

Re: Wiper arm tension 1936

X 2 with RainX. They also make a pre-application cleaner. Not convinced it's better than wash and windex first but the glass should be as clean as possible before applying.

Re: Parts Unknown

Got to thinking about the T wrench. I pulled a plug out of the '32 engine and compared it to the wrench. It does not fit inside either by length or socket size. C.C.M. is rather crudely stamped in 5...
