Re: Radiator emblem

The easiest way I found was to use a socket wrench that fits the back of the emblem and give it a firm hit with a mallet. Place one hand in front to catch the emblem.

As it relates to cotter pins I agree with Alexiskai. The cotterpin just prevents the castle nut from backing up, so the material technically does not matter. One material may be easier to bend than...

What VIN number did you have in your existing paperwork? Was that the re-manufactured engine number. Perhaps you can have someone stamp that in that smooth area were the engine number goes. I know...

I use Champion 18. Fairly priced at parts store. My engine runs well with them. Save the 3X for car shows.

I was very surprised and very sad to hear about this great loss to the Model A Hobby. He was a great leader and a great ambassador of the Model A. My deepest sympathy to the family.
