Everything seems to be straight and not bent. I think when you rotate the plate you’ll slightly loose the angle. Looks like I’ll just have the drums turned down a little to not rub 1/16” should be...

Original 40’s backing plates nothing needed to be knotched nothing is touching the rear of the backing plate. I cut the shock ball off for it to clear. Pictures posted

No the chamber size is 152cc noticeably shallower than a stock head and not heart shaped like the 5.5.

Timing set with Nu-Rex wrench never had any issues with stock head.

That’s just a cut out 1 in 1 out.the orange wire you see is coming from the field and is grounded to the generator body. The red is coming from one of the brushes and the white goes to the ignition.

I think that’s the third time it’s been in there. I keep picking it out when I get a different idea of what the problem could be. Luckily it always comes out before trash day.

That sounds like it’s testing the fields. It have new fields and brushes. The armature has been cleaned and under cut. I’ve checked brushes #2 and #3 for shorts against the housing and there good....
