Re: Differences in flathead V8 starter front bearing plates

The one I'm planning to use on...

Re: Hershey AACA Eastern Fall Meet - 2021.

Just a thought, I used AirBnB and got a really nice, two bed room apartment two blocks away from the park for $199 a night.

That rate was cheaper and closer than the hotel we normally stay at.

This past weekend, I sold my friend's '36 roadster on Instagram in 2 hours. Car was in NJ, buyer was in CA. A phone call and some picts., car was sold.

As GZ mentioned, it all depends. I know...

Re: 1932 Roadster Frame Rail Sag

Interesting observation Tom.

I keep looking at the pin striping. It really seems like the frame is bent downward right at the "b" pillar/latch post. The pin striping is showing that part of the...

Re: Rear Axle Shock Mounts

There were two styles of bolt on shock mounts. The ones you are remembering were folded plate steel with a shock stud welded to the bottom end. These were equal length.

The bolts for this...

Re: Local Estate Auction 1935 Roadster Sells for $53,925.00

Point well taken about the term and I deserved to be called out. I'm a VW guy previously (before the prices got out of hand) and I use the term loosely. By the use of that term I meant dangerously...

Re: Local Estate Auction 1935 Roadster Sells for $53,925.00

VW vans have started their decline as well since that market demographic is starting to age out. 10 years ago, these VW were selling for Woodie prices. $100-150K was not uncommon.

They've...

Re: Local Estate Auction 1935 Roadster Sells for $53,925.00

Prices for Woodies have fallen very steeply in the past couple of years. Wagons that sold for near $100K, can be had for $30-40K if so inclined.
