Yes it was converted to 12 volts. The problem this far according to an associate is the cam is scoring almost immediately.

I recently restored, with lots of help from friends a late 1931 Ford Model A. The problem I have is with points.

After the car has run for 15 to 20 miles the points become burnt and the car...
