1940 dash? I assume it has the Ford script on a flat dash? 41 dash had a plate for script on a raised dash. column shift is possible with a 40 truck and up rare but possible

I see the problem with your gas, corona light and corona dark not root beer! be sure to use non-ethanal fuel if at all possible. after you get it running add some MMO to the fuel and also to the oil...

just went out and looked at three F3/F4's and all three the numbers are stamped on the pass side frame rail on top usually around the front crossmember they are not stamped very deep so a wire brush...

drivers side head can be removed on car with little difficulty but pass side head removal interferes with the cowl and it can be difficult to remove because of this. by now you must realize that...

looks like you are missing the crank ext. bar-has a cross on one end and a square tapered on the other-goes into the tapered square in the end of the lug wrench

restored a 36 four door a couple of years ago, used a 37 motor and changed out the 4:11 gears for a set of 3:78, used brake floaters for a great upgrade for the brakes. I sent a pm to you.

what happened to the patterns and old floor boards that Roy had collected? I had sent him a lot of original floor boards to use as patterns, don.t want them back, just wish someone would carry on...

there is a mid year change to the area around the radiator due to the addition of a 6 cylinder engine, that maybe the reason for the question of early/late

looks like the housing from bubba's was not turned down enough to fit in the ford timing cover. I would bet Bubba will see this and fix the problem
