Studs & bolts , 1 motor has 2 broken bolts , that's how I got it , already have penetrating oil on the bolt heads .... hoping the rest will come out with out breaking.

Getting ready to inspect and cleanup my spare flatheads ..... I understand the head bolt / stud threads are to be cleaned using a thread chaser or modified bolt due to a friction fit.

Looking for information / pictures of the choke & manual throttle cable assemblies for my 47 convertible. How long would they be? Are there reproductions or have to find originals?

Thanks for the pictures & info on linkages , good looking setups .... john I will investigate jwl's book ..... so the 248f has a smooth idle only , but is a good performer from low the high rpm. John...

Looking for some input. I am installing a Columbia in my 47 Ford convertible , it has a Edelbrock 3 x 2 carb intake with three 94's installed , only the centre carb operating , other 2 carbs blocked...

Thanks for all the comments above , what I can summarize is: 15" rims , maximum rear tire with is 235/75 & front 205/75. Rim withs to use is 5 to 5.5" wide.
Tj - what years do you consider " late...

Vintage & Blucar , thanks for the input , how wide of a tire do you think would fit on the 15" F100 rim & still be easy to get in/out of the front & rear wheel openings

I have a Columbia rear end to install in my 1947 Ford convertible & want to put radial tires on the car when I do the install. It has a 3.78 main gear. The car currently has the stock 6.00 x 16 inch...

The contour looked like they would bolt onto the Ford bumper okay.
