Is that the Ford alternator with external regulator you are using? Been looking at different alternator designs last night.

Tony, NY I would like to see more pictures of how it is mounted. Did you trim the original generator bracket down any.

I knew I had read couple of years ago someone putting a Chrysler alternator on flathead. Look at page 59, only drawback is it takes a regulator.

Do the bolts for intake require a lock washer, flat washer, or no washer at all.

I watched the video on YouTube and took mine back off and separated and added silicone and put back together. I would rather have piece of mind than leaking seal. Wasn't any trouble...

V8Coopman, I meant raise the CR by milling the heads if need be. I want .045 clearance and wanted to make sure I was measuring in the right places.
