Re: 1936 Rear window gasket question

Looking good! Amazing you were able to bring all that original paint back to life, and the dash is going to look beautiful!

Re: 1936 Rear window gasket question

I would say gasket joining at the bottom.
Maybe it is the deluxe versus the standard thing. Don Rogers would know all about it.
Hey let’s see some pictures of that 36, how’s it coming along?

Re: Bendix conversion F1 vs F100?

Re: Bendix conversion F1 vs F100?

So I did some testing and I’m very disappointed. As stated in going to need a 1 inch spacer and longer studs or I’m going to have to come up with something different. Wire wheel fits the 48 hub with...

Re: Motor City Flathead Oil Pump

I used the Hildebrant set up from OBrian Truckers as well.
Push lock fittings. Mounted on right side of firewall. Works well.

Re: Blown flathead

Headlights are Guide model 682C.
The car is a 30 Tudor, pretty radical, chopped and dropped.
I thought I had a picture of it but I canít find it right now. As soon as I do Iíll post one .

Re: Bendix conversion F1 vs F100?

Now that’s what I’m talking about, some New Zealand ingenuity!
So would the Boling Bros drums need less of a spacer?
I’m going to lay them all out as you said and ponder my options, I’ve got plenty...

Re: Bendix conversion F1 vs F100?

Why won’t they fit what can be done to make them fit?

Re: Bendix conversion F1 vs F100?

Arghhhh! It’s always something! So here’s an idea, what about original, or repop F1 drums. Won’t they fit those? They are recessed on the outside like early drums.

Re: What year Harley?

Nope, not WLA, those were 45 cubic inch flatheads, this one is an OHV knucklehead, plus as you say, fenders were much thinner overall.
